Free Printable Birthday Invitations — 12 Designs, Ready in Two Minutes

Every birthday starts the same way: you pick a date, and then you need to tell people. Shop invitations cost money for something that ends up in a bin by Monday, and the free template sites want a subscription before they let you download anything.

So we made our own, and put it on the site for nothing. The invitation maker is live now — twelve designs, your child's name and party details typed straight in, and a finished card you can print at home or send on WhatsApp.

How it works

1. Pick a design. Twelve to choose from, listed below.
2. Type the details. Name, age, date, time, place, address, who to RSVP to. Nothing is required — fill in only what you want, and anything you leave blank simply doesn't appear on the card.
3. Print or download. Leave your name, email and phone, and both buttons unlock: print at home, or save an image to send in a class group chat.

It takes about two minutes, and you can come back and make another one for the next birthday.

The twelve designs

Every picture here was painted for Art for Kids — you won't find these on a template site.

• Princess — a girl on the path to her castle, pumpkin carriage waiting on the grass
• Jungle & safari — a lion cub and a giraffe peeking in under the bunting
• Robots — a waving robot and its little rover among the gears and planets
• Space — a birthday cake on the moon, in an astronaut's helmet
• Mermaid & ocean — a mermaid over the reef, weeds and bubbles all around
• Superhero — capes over the city rooftops
• Football — the stadium, the goal, the boots and the trophy
• Dinosaurs — a T-rex and a long-neck meeting in the middle
• Unicorn — a sleeping unicorn on a rainbow cloud
• Autumn — fox, hedgehog, rabbit and toadstools around the edges
• Halloween — a ghost and pumpkins along the foot, spider and bat above
• Art for Kids style — our own balloons and colours, the studio's look

How it prints

The card folds in half. One sheet, printed on one side: the artwork goes on the front, the party details sit inside. Fold it down the middle and you have a proper card, about A5 — big enough to read from across a room, not a scrap of paper.

If you'd rather not print at all, the Download image button gives you a picture you can drop straight into a WhatsApp group. Same card, no printer needed.

A few things worth knowing

• It's free, and it stays free. No subscription, no watermark across the artwork.
• Nothing is compulsory. No time confirmed yet? Leave it blank and the card won't mention it.
• Make as many as you like. Change the design, change the name, print again — it stays unlocked.
• Polish and English. The card follows whichever language you're reading the site in, and the date is written out properly in both.

And if you'd rather not host it yourself

The invitations are free whether or not you ever come to us — no strings. But if the thought of twelve children and a tub of glitter in your living room is making you tired already, that part is what we do: birthday parties at the studio, where the mess stays with us and every child goes home with something they made.
