Kids' Workshops and Events in Warsaw: October–November 2026

As of 6 October 2026. Dates and prices come from the organisers' own websites. Check before you go and book early: family workshops usually have only a handful of places.

Autumn is the best time of year for children's workshops in Warsaw: museums restart their family programmes, theatres open new shows, and the weather does the rest. Here are specific events for October and November 2026, with the date, time, address and, where the organiser gives one, the price.

One note: we run the Art for Kids studio in Wilanów, so our workshop is in the calendar too. It's described the same way as everything else.

A children's workshop alongside "Rzeźba na meblościankę": 152 ceramic figurines that stood on shelves in Polish flats for decades — penguins, monkeys, strongmen. Children get it straight away, because they look like something you could make yourself. The exhibition closes on 25 October, and on that last day, Sunday 25 October at 11:00, there's a curator's tour. Details and booking: krolikarnia.mnw.art.pl.

For years now, the Royal Castle, Łazienki Królewskie and Wilanów Palace have opened for free in November, with family activities on selected weekends. In 2025, Wilanów ran walks for children aged 3–7 and a "royal artist's studio" workshop for ages 9+. The 2026 programme hasn't been announced yet, so check wilanow-palac.pl towards the end of October.

About 80 minutes of looking and making for families. Tickets go on sale at the desk and online on Tuesdays at 10:00, two weeks before each session, and they go quickly. mnw.art.pl

How not to miss out

  • Book straight away. Museum family workshops usually have a dozen or so places.
  • Check the age. "Museum for Toddlers" is a different thing from a workshop for 9–12-year-olds.
  • Leave time afterwards. After a workshop, children usually want to see the exhibition too.

Most museum workshops are in Polish. For more ideas, see What to do with kids at the weekend in Warsaw, and for autumn afternoons at home, our 7 autumn crafts for kids.
